So it's day 2 of my #100HappyDays challenge and I've had a pretty good day. It's funny - when you know you have to write about something you were happy about, you start realising all the little things that make you happy. 

Still, there was one clear highlight today and that was when my little niece recognised me on webcam during a Skype talk with my brother and said "Hallo Carla". 

When Emily was first born, I was adamant that I wanted to be an important part of her life. Unfortunately time moves way too fast and so much has happened since she was born that I've only seen her a few times in the (almost) 2 years she's been on this planet. That's something I'm definitely planning on changing in the future - starting with my visit in October for my brother's wedding! :) 

In the mean time, thank you Emily for making my day that little bit happier! I may be far but I love you loads none the less! ♥♥♥
